Despite having a fantastic plan, involving being on buses for eight million hours over a stretch of two and a half days where we would arrive in Pisco completely triumphant this morning, the forces and fate of Latino America was not having it. These people know how to shut down for a fiesta, and so we are stuck in the North of Peru. Ho hum...

Me and Dan have both just developed a new talent! We can both produce undigested food from our arses!
As not to waste this talent we are planning on opening an Ecuadorian Almuerzo restaurant, I will provide the seco and Dan will be making the sopa. Fantastico!!!

Hmm, itīs crazy what posts end up getting most comments. Anyway, yes, we are still in Cuenca. Catherine is learning Spanish still and now I am interneting and generally not doing much. Itīs great. Been out boozing and (not) dancing to some Salsatechques or whatever they are called. South Americans like a bit of a dance and no mistake. Jesus, they barely have time to drink...I donīt know whatīs going on there.

My God! My digestive system has never been asaulted with so much low quality grease and eggs. Luckily, my North Eastern Heritage has not let me down and I am well able to cope with it. I have sceduled myself for a heart attack on the 5th of September, and in the meantime will be growing myself a respectable gut.
Anyone who knows about Danīs wierd obsession with Lada jeeps will be impressed that we seem to have come to the the world capital for them and not a conversation goes past when we donīt ponder on the relative merits of souping up, or painting diorreah brown the magnificent Niva. Diorreah brown is the current favourite...
